If you ask me to explain the effect Barbaro had on my life, it might be hard to put into words. So many things changed for me as I journeyed with him each day for eight months... And I was devastated by the events of January 29, 2007.
Sadness still lingers strongly around me, but Barbaro has awakened me to many things and possibilities in my life, to try new things, to help those in need, to not be afraid. And so his "light" illuminates many things I do now. I've a feeling that will not stop. The impact of traveling with him those last months will be with me forever.
